Umarex H&K MK23 Socom The sidearm of the Navy Seals and other special operations units, this is one of the most popular handguns in airsoft for many years running. Chartered by the Pentagon in 1992 for use in SOCOM operations, the MK23 is also known to many as the United States Pistol due to its American funding. Chambered for .45 ACP in real steel, the MK23 packs a wallop of power. The MK23 is a big gun that can accommodate a SOCOM silencer on its pre-threaded barrel, and a LAM laser unit. This heavy weight version is constructed with very high metallic content materials which makes the gun extremely heavy and nice to touch. The slide feels like metal – cool to the touch and heavy to the grasp. Very realistic finishing is convincingly real. Note that the MK23 threaded barrel is non-standard threading and only the KSC branded SOCOM silencer will fit
